Jesus Tempted in the Wilderness

Matthew 4:1-11

Lesson Content

1. After Jesus was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit, He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil (Matt.4:1).

2. He fasted for forty days and forty nights and after this He was hungry (Matt.4:2).

3. His first temptation and His victory over it (Matt.4:3,4).

4. The second temptation and His victory over it (Matt.4:5-7).

5. The third temptation and His victory over it (Matt.4:8-10).

Moral

Just as Jesus overcame the devil and his temptations, we too should overcome the devil.
