Abraham and Lot

Gen. ch. 13

Lesson Content

1. Abraham was called by God and Lot went with him (Gen.12:1,4).

2. They were not able to live together because of the abundance of their riches (Gen.13:5,6).

3. There was a strife between Abraham’s herdmen and Lot’s herdmen (Gen.13:7).

4. Abraham’s counsel (Gen.13:8,9).

5. Lot chose the plain of Jordan (Gen.13:11).

6. Abraham dwelt in Canaan (Gen.13:12).

7. The Lord spoke to Abraham and gave him a promise after Lot separated from him (Gen.13:14-17).

Moral

If we who are called of the Lord, live surrendering ourselves to His will, the Lord will remove all hindrances and bless us.
