Lesson Content

1. While Abraham was sitting in the tent’s door he saw three men coming to his tent. He ran to meet them (Gen. 18:1,2). They were not actually men, but God and two angels (Gen. 18:22,33; 19:1).

2. Abraham entertained them with cakes, butter, milk and a dressed calf (Gen. 18:6,8).

3. God’s promise to Abraham (Gen. 18:10).

4. Sarah’s unbelief (Gen. 18:12).

5. The Lord confirmed His promise (Gen. 18:14).

Moral

The Lord and His angels may visit our home too. Therefore we should not be forgetful to entertain strangers.
