1. Many sick people waited near the pool of Bethesda (Jn.5:2,3).

2. The one who went into the pool first after an angel had troubled the water, would be healed (Jn.5:4).

3. A man sick for thirty eight years was there (Jn.5:5).

4. Jesus asked him, “Wilt thou be made whole?” (Jn.5:6).

5. The reply of the sick man (Jn.5:7).

6. Jesus healed him (Jn.5:8,9).

Moral

When there is no one to help us, Jesus comes and helps us.
