Jesus Restores Sight to Blind Bartimaeus

Mark 10:46-52

Lesson Content

1. When Jesus went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus sat by the highway side begging (Mk.10:46).

2. He heard that Jesus was passing that way and began to cry out saying, “Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me” (Mk.10:47).

3. Though others rebuked him, he cried the more a great deal, ‘Thou son of David, have mercy on me’ (Mk.10:48).

4. Jesus called him and healed him (Mk.10:49-52).

5. Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus (Mk.10:52).

Moral

The Lord is a merciful God Who hears our prayers and helps us.
