The Widow’s Offering

Lesson Content

1. Jesus taught in the temple (Mk.12:35).

2. Jesus sat over against the treasury and watched how people cast money into it (Mk.12:41).

3. The rich cast in much (Mk.12:41).

4. The widow’s offering (Mk.12:42).

5. Jesus called His disciples and told them His opinion about her offering (Mk.12:43,44).

6. It was only because the widow had faith and great love for God that she was able to give all that she had for her livelihood.

Moral

The widow, inspite of her poverty, gave to the Lord all that she had for her livelihood. So also we should be willing to give to our Lord, even our life.
