The Daughter of the Canaanite Woman Healed

Matthew 15:21-28

Lesson Content

1. The daughter of the Canaanite woman was grievously vexed with a devil (Matt.15:22).

2. The woman pleaded with Jesus (Matt. 15:22).

3. Jesus did not answer her, but she continued to cry after Him and the disciples besought Him to send her away (Matt.15:23).

4. When Jesus declined, she worshipped Him and pleaded with Him again (Matt.15:24,25).

5. Jesus’ reply (Matt.15:26).

6. She humbled herself and besought Him again (Matt.15:27).

7. Then Jesus said to her “... Great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt.” Her daughter was healed (Matt.15:28).

Moral

Divine healing is children’s bread. To receive it, we should humble ourselves, and pray believing, without fainting, till we receive the answer.
