When Pharaoh refused to let the children of Israel go from Egypt, the Lord sent plagues upon the Egyptians. 1st plague — Water turning into blood (Exo.7:17-24). 2nd plague — Frogs (Exo. 8:2-14). 3rd plague — Lice (Exo. 8:16-19). 4th plague — Swarms of flies (Exo. 8:21-31). 5th plague — Cattle murrain (Exo. 9:3-6).
