Lazarus Raised from the Dead

John 11:1-45

Lesson Content

1. Lazarus of Bethany was sick (Jn.11:1).

2. The relationship between Jesus and Lazarus (Jn. 11:3,11).

3. Though Jesus knew that Lazarus was sick, He abode two days still in the same place where He was (Jn.11:6).

4. When Jesus finally came to Bethany, it was already four days since Lazarus had died and had been laid in the grave (Jn.11:17).

5. Jesus conversing with Martha and Mary (Jn. 11:21-34).

6. Jesus came to the grave and commanded the people to remove the stone that was upon the grave and they obeyed (Jn.11:38-41).

7. Jesus prayed to the Father and then commanded with a loud voice “Lazarus, come forth” (Jn.11:41-43).

8. Lazarus came forth alive and many Jews believed in Jesus (Jn.11:44,45).

Moral

If we believe, we will see the glory of God.
