Moses on Mount Sinai Again

Exo. 34:1-32
Lesson Content
1. The Lord asked Moses to go up to the top of the mount again, hewing two new tables of stone (Exo.34:1,2).
2. Moses went up to the mount (Exo.34:4).
3. When the Lord passed by, He revealed His glory to Moses (Exo.33:18-23; 34:6,7).
4. Moses’ intercession (Exo.34:8,9).
5. The Lord made a covenant with him (Exo. 34:10).
6. He was with the Lord for forty days and forty nights without eating and drinking. The Lord wrote the ten commandments on the tables according to the first writing and gave them to Moses (Exo.34:1; Deut.10:4).
7. When Moses came down with the two tables of testimony, his face was so shining that the people were afraid to come near him (Exo.34:29,30).
8. He taught the people all that the Lord had spoken with him (Exo. 34:32).
Moral
In the same way, as Moses interceded with God for the children of Israel, Jesus is interceding for us with the Father.
