7. His prayer the first two times (Matt.26:39,42).

8. Again the third time He prayed speaking the same words (Matt.26:44). When He returned He found the three disciples sleeping again (Mk.14:39,40).

9. He came for the third time and spoke to them (Mk.14:41,42).

Moral

As Jesus, through His prayer to the Father, received strength and got the victory, we should also pray and get the victory.

Memory Verse

“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

Matthew 26:41; Romans 8:26
