Lesson Content

1. The attributes of Cornelius (Acts 10:1,2,22).

2. The vision he had and the counsel given by the angel (Acts 10:3-6).

3. Cornelius sent men to Peter at Joppa (Acts 10:7,8).

4. The vision that Peter saw (Acts 10:9-16).

5. The instructions given by the Spirit of God to Peter when the messengers of Cornelius came to the gate of Peter’s house — the conversation between Peter and the men (Acts 10:17-22).

6. Peter went to Cornelius’ house along with some brethren from Joppa — Cornelius received Peter — the conversation between the two (Acts 10:23-33).

7. Peter’s sermon (Acts 10:34-43).

8. While Peter was preaching, the Holy Spirit descended upon all who heard the Word (Acts 10:44-46).

9. Peter commanded them to be baptized (Acts 10:47,48).

Moral

The Lord saves all those who call upon Him without any discrimination. He saves all those who seek Him with an earnest and upright heart like Cornelius, and fills them with all His heavenly blessings.
