Moral
Job was a man who had received testimony of the Lord. But he was tried by Satan and lost all that he had and even his children. He was smitten with sore boils from the sole of his foot to his crown. Yet he did not sin with his lips. He endured everything patiently and prayed for his friends who reproached him. Owing to this, the Lord turned his captivity and blessed him twice as much as he had before. Like Job, if we too remain patient in all our trials, speak words of hope and intercede for others, the Lord will bless us.
Memory Verse
“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.”
Job 23:12; James 5:11
