Moral
Elijah cast his mantle on Elisha so that Elisha could continue Elijah’s ministry. But Elisha was not satisfied with just filling the gap. Therefore, he asked for a double portion of the spirit that was upon Elijah. W e should also desire for a greater anointing than that received by the children of God who lived before us.
Memory Verse
“And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
