Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego

Lesson Content
1. The image of gold set up by king Nebuchadnezzar (Dan.3:1).
2. The king’s command (Dan.3:2-6).
3. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were accused and the matter was brought before the king (Dan. 3:7-13).
4. The king’s enquiry and the three men’s answer to the king (Dan.3:14-18).
5. The king’s fury — The furnace was heated seven times more than usual and the three men were bound and cast into it (Dan.3:19-23).
6. The king’s surprise in seeing four men loose, walking in the furnace (Dan.3:24,25).
7. Nebuchadnezzar called out the three men. He found them safe and sound (Dan.3:26,27).
8. The king praised God — His decree (Dan.3:28,29).
9. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were promoted (Dan.3:30).
Moral
In the midst of fiery trials, if we stand true to the revelations that God has given us, then God will miraculously deliver us.
